Commissioned Works
Mr. Mubarak was recently commissioned by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Compton in California. His work decorates the lobby of City Hall with portraits of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and Ceasar Chavez.
Also, in the interior and exterior of the City Council Building, there are several murals that depict the entire history of the city.
He is known in the world of boxing and has been commissioned by many sports figures including the likes of boxing promoter Don King, Oscar De LaHoya, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
He has also been commissioned by L.A. Sentinel News publisher Danny Bakewell, entertainer Barry White, and talk show host Tavis Smiley.
